In addition to the PS Plus games we listed earlier on, there will be five free to play games without the need for PS Plus.
Free to play is getting bigger, and the fact that Sony is complementing the launch of it’s next-gen console with five free to play games is a pretty big deal. One which we’ll cover in more detail closer to launch.
Here are the games complete with descriptions:
Warframe
They were called Tenno. Warriors of blade and gun: masters of the Warframe armor. Those that survived the old war were left drifting among the ruins. Now they are needed once more. The Grineer, with their vast armies, are spreading throughout the solar system. A call echoes across the stars summoning the Tenno to an ancient place. They summon you.
Blacklight: Retribution

Planetside 2
Across the continents of Auraxis, thousands of players will come together in enormous battles to win control of territory and resources for their empire in PlanetSide 2. DC Universe Online
A massively-multiplayer experience, DC Universe Online brings high-energy action to the forefront with a combat system designed to deliver a fast-paced action experience with the extraordinary powers of your personally created heroes and villains at your disposal. War Thunder

There’s a fair bit of a variety there, even if some of them are going to be touched up versions of previous games. It’s nice to know that you get five games included in the £350 asking price. Seriously, it’s great that day-one purchasers will have at least five games to choose from right from the start.
